DAILY BIBLE VERSES

Psalms 27:1 - The Lord is my light and my salvation. Whom shall, I fear? The lord is the refuge and fortress of my life. Whom shall, I dread?
David opens this verse with confidence, not in himself, but in God. When he says, “The LORD is my light and my salvation,” he is declaring that God brings clarity where there is confusion, and deliverance where there is danger. Light represents direction, safety, and truth. God provides all three. Salvation represents rescue. God is the One who pulls you out when life gets heavy.
“Whom shall I fear?” is more than a question; it’s a statement of faith. If God is guiding you, guarding you, and standing beside you, then nothing you face today holds more power than the One who leads you. Fear loses its voice when God becomes your focus. Anxiety weakens when you remember who walks with you.
When David says, “The LORD is the strength of my life,” he is placing the weight of his entire existence on God’s power. Not his own strength. Not his own wisdom. Not his own ability. This is your reminder too: you do not have to carry today by yourself. The strength you need is supplied by a source that never runs out.
Step into today with confidence that God is your light, your salvation, and your strength. Whatever tries to intimidate you is no match for the One who stands over your life. Let this verse remind you that with God as your foundation, fear has no authority over your day.
